Research Interests

Our lab will focus on autophagy and metabolism. We will use a comprehensive approach which combines biochemical, structural, in vitro reconstitution, and cell biological analyses to systematically study: 1) the molecular mechanisms of selective autophagosome formation; 2) the biologic function of selective autophagy in metabolism and their relevant roles in the metabolic disorder disease.

Honors and Awards

  • 2016 Tang Distinguished Scholarship, UC Berkeley

  • 2013 National Scholarship for Graduate Students, Ministry of Education of China
