On the morning of September 5, 2019, Professor Hongyuan Yang, School of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences, University of New South Wales, Australia, came to the Institute of Metabolism and Integrative Biology and gave a lecture entitled New Insights into Cellular Lipid Trafficking and Storage: Implications for Metabolic and Neurodegenerative Disorders to our faculty and students. Professor Shimin Zhao hosted the meeting.
Prof. Yang's presentation attracted over 50 teachers and students from our institute and the School of Life Sciences. The audience were interested with Professor Yang’s research topics. After the report, Professor Yang conducted in-depth academic exchanges with teachers and students. Several students put forward meaningful questions to discuss with Professor Yang. They benefited a lot.
